Our 3^rd stay with Shona, fantastic lodge, clean and the welcome pack is always full of essentials.  Our dog loves his treats and ball.  We will be booking again!

WOW what can I say that does this gem of a lodge justice!  What a great find, our youngest son said this was the best lodge he had ever stayed in.  The attention to detail was second to none, the welcome tray was superb.  The lodge was welcoming and inviting after long days being out in the rain and wind.  Thank you Shona for making this a place home from home.  We will definitely be return.  Our dog also says thank you for her welcome pack too.  She loved chasing the ball on the beach!

Superbly equipped lodge with the best shower in self catering accom I’ve ever had.  Bed super comfy too!!  Welcome pack also ‘second to none’ thanks Shona.  Despite the dodgy weather, we’ve had a fabulous week and feel fully rested and recharged.  Thank you!!

Our 2^nd visit and won’t be the last!  Booked a week for some much needed R&R.  Thank you Shona, we had everything we needed!  Look forward to returning again soon.

Our 2^nd stay in Shonas lodge.  Such a delight, a lovely welcome back for us all and treats for Jax.  Weather not the greatest but it didn’t spoil our stay.  My grandparents loved it too.  Lovely relaxing break spending time with loved ones in a superb lodge.  See you in December 2025 when we will be back x

Our extended stay in Langdale Lodge has been simply wonderful. Shona has very high standards which reflected throughout the lodge. Super little extras and a warm welcome. I cannot recommend a better example of a holiday let..

Many thanks for providing everything we needed for a fantastic holiday.  The lodge was superb, clean and well stocked.  Welcome packs were amazing even one for the dog!  At 16 years old I thought her days of chasing balls were over but her eyes ‘popped’ out of her head when she saw the tennis ball and has been chasing it round like a puppy ever since!  We highly recommend this lodge – the best we have stayed at.

Amazing stay, home away from home!  Shona’s personal touches for our birthdays were so thoughtful.  Without a doubt we will all be back.  Couldn’t recommend enough xxx

A beautiful lodge, well presented.  We had a lovely week, welcome pack wonderful.  Everything here that we needed, will definitely be back – thank you.

We have had a lovely ‘dad & lads/ family break these last few days.  The lodge was a lovely base for fishing on Borwick Like and also for meals out at Longlands and Waters Edge.  Shona has got the lodge beautifully presented and superbly equipt.  We have enjoyed every minute here.

Wow, just wow, what a lovely well looked after lodge and all home comforts too.  Love all the little nick nacks too.  Best welcome pack we have ever had, loved it.  Our dog (woof, woof) loved having his own special bowls.  All in all a lovely stay, peace and sunshine what more could you want?

 One weeks stay isn’t long enough to appreciate this lovely lodge. Everything you need and more. The welcome pack was like a mini hamper.  The lodge was like new and so clean in a quiet cul de sac position. Dog friendly too. Rabbits, ducks and a swan were seen at the lake and wandering around the site. Lovely picturesque place to stay .

Lovely lodge, great touch with the welcome basket.  The dog especially enjoyed his treats!  Bedding and towels hotel quality, everything done to a high standard.  A lovely week away had by all 😊.

We have enjoyed staying here at your lovely lodge, everything we need was here.  Anyone staying here should have a good base to travel to the Lakes and further if they wish.  We were lucky to have a sunny day (ha ha), shops are close enough for the basics.  We cleared the welcome pack, nice things to eat. Very comfy lodge – thanks.
